Located almost 100 miles north of the highway on the perimeter of the Arctic watershed, Seseganaga is available by floatplane only. Countless rivers and streams feed into this northern lake, which is over 40 miles in length. Seseganaga Wilderness Lodge is the only lodge and is located on the extreme north end of the lake at the river outlet. From here, the water flows north through the Allan Water River, and into the mighty Ogoki River, which empties into James Bay. Seseganaga Wilderness Lodge was located on its present site, only after careful survey of miles of shoreline with the thought of giving you the most sheltered spot, enabling you to fish even on windy days.
Walleyes & Northerns
In these northern waters, the fish bigger faster and fight harder. Seseganaga has always been a producer of trophy size Northerns. Tie into one of these on light tackle, and you have your work cut out for you! Walleye fishing is never slow. Walleye average two to four pounds, but you can be confident of catching many over this size, especially during July and August. You can always be sure to have a plethora of plump walleyes for shore lunch. All fishing is done with artificial bait, either casting or trolling. Brand new Yamaha Smokeless motors are provided every year. Striving to be conscientious sportsmen, we use the Yamaha four-stroke for the environments sake.
fishing... and much more!

Generally, it is best to pack light. If you really need something we can probably get it for you. If all your groceries become lost en route to us you most likely would still leave here heavier on the fish you'd eat.
Note
Weight Limits - VERY IMPORTANT Aircraft space is limited. Please pack light and compact. Up to 100 lbs per person is allowed (for gear, food and beverages). Overload charges may apply where additional weight and bulk require additional flights. Please contact us with passenger weights before the trip, and we will advise exactly how much cargo you can bring to avoid overload charges
