What are my payment options?
We accept cash (Canadian and American), personal cheques and Visa. Our rate of exchange is based on what the Dryden Chamber of Commerce recommends as the fair rate of exchange.
What are your hours of operations?
We fly from daylight until dark everyday from May until October. There is someone at the base 24 hours a day everyday.
Where is West Caribou Air located?
We are 13 km (8 miles) north of the Town of Savant Lake on Highway 599. Please see our location and contact page for detailed directions.
Can we buy our fishing licences and bait from you?
We have both licences and bait available. Minnows are available by the gallon, 1/2 gallon, 1/4 gallon or dozen. Leeches are available by the pound and worms are available by the tub (1 dozen) or flat (40 dozen).

What aircraft will we need?
There is not a black and white answer to this question as many factors come into play when determining the maximum load the aircraft will haul. Some of these factors include weather and destination. The pilot always has the final say in load maximums.
The following information is only a guideline
Cessna 185: Maximum 3 people or 800 lbs.
Beaver: Maximum 4 people or 1350 lbs.
Norseman: Maximum 7 people or 1850 lbs.
Note: When calculating weight, include people weight as well as gear.
